The scale of his appeal goes beyond India’s borders—24 nations have conferred their highest civilian honours upon him, a testament to his global influence and diplomatic credibility.
His humble beginnings as the son of a tea seller resonate deeply with the masses. Unlike many leaders who rose through political dynasties or elite backings, Modi’s rise has been self-made. That authenticity, coupled with his incorruptible image—even after a decade in office—makes him both a symbol of aspiration and integrity.
A War on Corruption and a Push for Development
Modi’s leadership has been marked by a fierce crackdown on corruption and black money.
