The High Commission of India in Mal\u00e9 organized the Viksit Bharat Run 2025 today, attracting over 300 participants, including members of the Indian community, Maldivian friends, and prominent public figures.<\/p>\n

The run started at the High Commission in Hulhumal\u00e9 Phase I and concluded at the Harbour in Hulhumal\u00e9 Phase II. Families, students, professionals, and senior citizens took part, showcasing energy, enthusiasm, and a shared commitment to fitness.<\/p>\n

In his remarks, the High Commissioner of India highlighted that the event promotes not just physical well-being, but also unity, inclusivity, and strong India\u2013Maldives people-to-people ties.<\/p>\n

The run forms part of the High Commission\u2019s ongoing initiatives from 15 September to 2 October to commemorate the birthday of Mahatma Gandhi, which include tree plantation drives, blood donation camps, sports competitions, school quizzes, and meetings with Indian exporters.<\/p>\n
