The ceremony was held today at the Palais de \u00c9lys\u00e9e in Paris, where Dr. Iruthisham assumed her role as the Non-Resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Maldives to the French Republic.<\/p>\n<p>During the credential ceremony, Ambassador Dr. Iruthisham conveyed warm greetings and best wishes from the President of the Maldives, Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, as well as the Maldivian government and people, to President Macron, the French government, and the people of France.<\/p>\n<p>Following the ceremony, Ambassador Dr. Iruthisham reaffirmed the Maldivian government\u2019s commitment to strengthening bilateral ties with France. She highlighted the importance of enhancing trade, investment, and cultural exchanges between the two nations, emphasizing mutual cooperation in key areas.<\/p>\n<p>As part of her official engagements, Ambassador Dr. Iruthisham met with Ambassador for Regional Cooperation in the Indian Ocean, Jean Claude Brunet, and Myriam Saint Pierre, Deputy Director of the Asia and Oceania Department at the French Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs.
