The decision was made after an assessment raised doubts about the batch\u2019s safety and efficacy.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"559\" data-end=\"868\">Pantoprazole is a widely used <strong data-start=\"589\" data-end=\"620\">proton pump inhibitor (PPI)<\/strong> prescribed for treating <strong data-start=\"645\" data-end=\"698\">acid reflux, ulcers, and other gastric conditions<\/strong> by reducing stomach acid production.
