Private Plane Crash in Brazil Claims Lives of Businessman’s Family

Gramado, Brazil – A private plane crash in the southern Brazilian city of Gramado on Sunday morning has claimed the lives of 10 family members of Luiz Claudio Galeazzi, a prominent businessman and CEO of Galeazzi & Associates.

The tragedy occurred shortly after the plane took off in poor weather conditions. Reports indicate the aircraft, piloted by 61-year-old Galeazzi himself, flew approximately 3 kilometers before crashing.

Local authorities confirmed that the crash caused significant damage, with the plane striking a building’s chimney, a house, and a store before coming to a stop. Additionally, 17 people in the area were injured, including two who are in serious condition.

In a statement issued by Galeazzi & Associates, the company expressed its grief and pledged full cooperation with the ongoing investigation. The passengers included Galeazzi’s wife, three daughters, and other family members, all of whom perished in the incident.

Rio Grande do Sul Governor Eduardo Leite extended his condolences to the bereaved families and assured that the state government is providing all necessary support. “The accident is under investigation by the Aeronautical Accident Investigation and Prevention Center (CENIPA),” Governor Leite said.

Galeazzi & Associates is a renowned corporate restructuring and crisis management firm based in São Paulo. The incident has left Brazil’s business community in mourning.

Investigators are now working to determine the exact cause of the crash.
